The following organizations and agencies are good sources of information concerning Puerto Ricans, particularly in the United States. Some focus only on Puerto Ricans, some on Latinos, and some on language minority populations. They all, however, have some expertise on Puerto Ricans.

A leadership and educational development agency working primarily with Puerto Rican youth with associate offices in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Florida, Puerto Rico, and Connecticut. Services include counseling, cultural activities, tutoring, and college placement advising.

A university-based research unit concerning Puerto Rican history and culture, especially in the United States. The library contains extensive holdings including books, reports, and unpublished doctoral dissertations. The Centro has produced numerous books and articles on such topics as culture, migration, bilingualism, the Puerto Rican working class, and Puerto Ricans in U.S. higher education, among others. They also publish a journal, Centro.
